Some Slow Religion
This is exactly why I miss San Francisco so much.
Heeb Magazine is partnering with Mission Beach Café for the Slow Food Seder. Traditional Jewish dishes, made with fresh, seasonal, local and organic ingredients, will be served alongside the very best in new American fare. It’s both a Passover dinner and fine dining experience.
Acclaimed Pastry Chef Alan Carter has designed the final course of sweets. (San Francisco Magazine says before Carter, quality desserts were “absent from the city’s pastryscape.”) And the restaurant’s all-Californian wine list, with its amazing selection of single varietals, will provide the perfect way to toast the exodus from Egypt.
